A great experience, great service, great food. 5 people and not a single dish was amiss. Some portions could be slightly more generous for the price but will absolutely come back. Note the sommelier knows his stuff even if the wine selection is inconsistent, there are some good wine and great liquor on offering.
What an incredible experience! From the atmosphere to the service and the food and drink presentation…I felt like I got a full dining experience. All of the ingredients were fresh. I definitely recommend the deviled eggs, the yam fries (the gold sauce…OMG!) , arugula salad, oysters, and wings. I obviously could not just pick one item to eat. I very much love a good presentation for food and beverage and Sparrow delivers. I live in Tacoma and would easily drive to dine here any day of the week. Thank you Gabby and Lyndsey for great service! 10/10 recommend.
Sparrow had been on my bucket list to visit ever since I watched it renovate the space it is in now. We finally tried it for a date night, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was trendy and welcoming. We sat on the outdoor patio right next to some live music and enjoyed our food. The menu had a unique options or twists to popular menu staples. Would highly recommend.

Restaurant is beautiful inside, with a unique seating patio outside as well as kept clean, neat and tidy. The menu is great overall but a huge favorite is the brunch menu - highly recommend! Food was average, maybe slightly above. I might’ve rated the food five stars however the price to value ratio is slightly off. This restaurant has higher prices than most in the area and the portions are small. Wings were dry and overdone. Deviled eggs were tasty. The pork chop was over sauced. The Caesar salad salad was excellent. However, the staff and ambience made up for it. Our server was fantastic! The back patio is a tranquil setting ideal for a date or business meeting. I definitely recommend a visit.
Had a great time here. Service and ambiance was great. Enjoyed our meal and the server took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s def a little pricier, but it’s good.
We were seated on the Patio, and considering the flower bed directly next to the table, it was not at all intrusive and the whole table was incredibly clean. Our server, Ivan, was incredibly friendly and was super diligent and welcoming. The food was incredible, from the bread basket to start to the Quesa-Lamb tacos and the braised Duck. It was all super excellent and very perfectly portioned! I will say, I thought the duck could’ve used a bit more of that excellent sauce, but still amazing! Very very satisfied and will be recommending this place to anyone in the area and I will be returning for sure! For that price? Kinda outstanding!
Sparrow was an excellent dining experience. The food was outstanding, the outdoor seating was beautiful, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. I had the Italian sausage rigatoni, and it was exactly what you want from a great pasta dish—rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sauce had incredible depth, the sausage added great flavor, and it was one of those meals where you’re tempted to clean the bowl because you don’t want it to end. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.
